about-us

Our Mission

The mission of the Saskatoon Newcomer Information Centre (NIC) is to support and assist new immigrants and refugees by providing information, and connections to community services and resources so that they can make informed decisions and settle in Saskatoon and area.

Our History

The NIC was developed and opened in 2009 by four immigrant service agencies in response to an identified need for a one-stop location where information would be available.  The agencies include The Saskatoon Open Door Society, Global Gathering Place, Saskatchewan Intercultural Association and International Women of Saskatoon.
